Oil of Vetiver Vetiveria zizanoides Haiti Uncertified Organic Distilled from the roots of the vetiver grass. Works well as a fixative in perfumery. Thought to create harmony in the home. Heavy, earthy aroma. Vetiver Oil Haiti is extracted from the roots through steam distillation. The aroma is very earthy, sweet, and woody. Although this oil is very viscous, it does thin out when mixed with other oil and can actually be added to almost any blend. Also blends well with black pepper, geranium, orange, ylang ylang, bergamot, lavender, mandarin, rose, grapefruit, clary sage, jasmine, oakmoss, sandalwood, patchouli, cedarwood, lemon, ginger, and lemongrass.
